Here's another photo essay about JC:

When attending antique shows I generally spend a minute looking through vintage postcards (usually grouped by town/theme) for gifts for friends from specific towns or with special interests. Here is a book with images of 230 vintage postcards with Jersey City images. Perhaps, using the book as a guide, you could search for some-then maybe buy some of your favorites, and have a good frame store mount them artfully in a large frame?

These are all great! I really love the pics of the parks and brownstones etc, the real Jersey City I live in (I live on Hamilton Park). I'm loving all these pictures people are sharing. There are some very talented photographers here. Thanks all :) I'm going to miss JC!

What about pictures of the real Jersey City. Pictures like of Hamilton Park, Van Vorst Park, Journal Square, Lincoln Park? The beautiful brownstones, tree lined Jersey Ave.
Those new glass and steel buildings do not remind me of Jersey City at all

my Fiance has this pretty great one of the water front as well as some street scenes -- its a huge panoramic that we get printed out on canvas so it doesn't have to be framed (which can be very expensive)
