Try this guy. He is very knowledgeable about pianos and if he doesn't have what you're looking for, I am certain he will help you find it.

Craigslist and eBay. I found one on Craigslist a few years ago - a nice little Chickering... It's old and needs a tune up - but it's lots of fun. Found it (thru Craigslist) from a consignment shop a few towns west of JC, then hired piano movers to get it here...

I see you are talking about an upright less than 15 year old.. that?s good. The old vintage upright piano?s are close to 1000 pounds. I knew a guy who tried to get rid of one for years. First trying to sell it and then offering it for free. No one wanted it, it was too heavy to move. So he broke it up saving some of the decorative pieces for other projects. If you watch any of those salvage shows those vintage piano?s are not worth much.
Good luck. Sort of in line what oideface posted in the below thread?

Check out http://www.pianoadoption.com/states/free_pianos_NJ.html - there's a world of free pianos out there that will just end up in a dump, sadly! I think you usually just have to pay for the mover.

You could try the Salvation Army by the Home Depot. I think I saw a couple in their basement while looking for odd furniture for testing my diy wood working skills.
Have you tried looking at ebay?Or even estate sales in the area?

Looking for an affordable upright used piano, anyone know which stores in the JC area or NYC besides Craiglist that offer good deal?
