I cut down two Elm trees over the summer and have it stacked in the woods behind my house. I can drop off as much as you need. Start with very small cool fires to season the chiminea. Dont do what I did and try yo turn the thing into a blast furnace/ incinerator for an old deck I took down. they crack lol.

Fireplaces are a waste of energy.

If you're interested I have firewood, take as much as you'd like.
(Cut down a tree in my backyard over the summer)

The A&P Fresh over by Best Buy sells 2 different types of firewood, they are stacked outside in the front, not sure its exactly what you need but its worth a shot. They also sell starter pieces inside (household cleaners aisle I believe).

I would first check at Downtown Hardware on Newark near Grove St. It's possible but not likely they have it, but I always check there first if I have to go to .....

Home Depot. Downtown. Or even HD or Lowe's on 440. That would be my best guess for finding what you need. (Target too? They have an outdoor section in the back corner but it may be too seasonal for them to still have it out if they carried it. Outdoors=summer, although the chimneas you would think would be a year-round thing if they have them.)

I tried finding regular firewood for my fireplaces a few years ago and finally gave up and just resorted to carrying it by the bundle from a deli near the train in the city. I haven't looked into the chimneas very much. You can use some versions for cooking, right? Like an oven?

Does anyone know of a place that sells firewood for a chiminea in the area?
I have a rather small one so regular firewood doesn't work and you aren't supposed to use duraflame type logs in them. From what I have read it needs to be 9"-14" (probably closer to 9" in my case). The articles I have read also say I need something called "fat wood" to season it and also start future fires. Any insight into this would be much appreciated.
