I just called the 7th st precinct and they said there was not a shooting yesterday...will try to get more info. If anybody can shed more light on this post we would all like to know...thx.

Is it me or does violent crime seem to be picking up in Jersey City. Now that the police have their wonderful raises, I am hoping that I see fewer headlines in the Jersey Journal. Seems like the wild west lately here.

I would hope if this is true that there is some sort of media coverage..

my neighbor just told me that there was a shooting, "just a couple blocks away", but that itr wasnt reported to the media. we live on Mercer/Barrow.

anyone know anything about this?
