I pick them up and carry them into work with me. You see, as a not-for-profit, we're severely underfunded and every little bit counts... (USPS could learn a thing or two about saving pennies.)

Has anyone else noticed all the rubber bands left on stoops or entrance-ways or sidewalks by our local postal carriers? I know they bundle the mail with them, & apparently some carriers just let them fall where they may when unbundling.
I'm going to give a call to our main post offiice & offer a suggestion that the carriers stash the rubber bands instead of littering the neighborhood.
