Old enough to be out, old enough to get home. If you were born and raised in that neighborhood, you probably wouldn't be so scared. Were you home schooled or something? Did you miss out on being a teenager? Those cops did those kids a huge favor.. too bad that one idiot had to screw it all up.

So the cops were going to send a drunk 16 y/o girl out onto the streets to find her own way home via MLK blvd at 2am? Nice. Better to be arrested.

Jersey City teen arrested after she refuses to leave loud party
By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal December 07, 2009, 6:35PM A 16-year-old Jersey City girl who refused to leave a loud party was arrested for assaulting an officer and underage drinking Sunday, police said. The Brinkerhoff Street resident was arrested at the Grant Avenue party at 2 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault on police officer, as well as failure to disperse and a curfew violation, reports said. Police responded to the location to pick up a boy at his parents' home and take him to his grandparents. But when they arrived they found music blaring. The boy told police his sister was having a party while his parents were away. Police told the group of about 25 people that the party was over and they had to leave, reports said. But the 16-year-old girl returned against the orders of the officers and refused to leave the porch, telling the officers, "I'm not talking to you," reports said. When police removed her form the porch she began screaming and punching at the officer who arrested her. The girl had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and difficulty standing, reports said.
