I was recommended to Brian Nazor of
Nazor, Cengarle & DeCarlo, LLC Main Street Title 190 Main Street, Ste 307 STAY AWAY. They made an error on my title. It took 2 YEARS and 50 phone calls/emails to get it fixed.

Thanks guys! I'm just trying to 'rationalize' NJ's exorbitant real estate taxes, by comparing NYS taxes are higher plus I currently have NYC resident taxes. Any other input on real estate attorneys are welcomed.

2. Stay away from Irwin Rosen. Was probably once a sharp guy in the '70's and now is sadly out of touch and inaccurate.

1. "only little people pay taxes." but you are not alone. there is no jc income tax (yeah), but the nj state income tax is a burden (ouch.)
2. robert matule; warmly recommended. it does not get better than robert. he is in hoboken, but knows the local market, the brokers, and the other attorneys. worth every penny. http://www.kannekt.com/cgi-bin/r.pl?I ... Hoboken&&FullCity=Hoboken

Two Questions - JC Taxes and Real Estate Attorney

Hey Guys,
I've been following JCList for a few months and there seem to be a lot of interesting characters on the board...just like one crazy community. I have two quick questions to ask everyone: 1) Is there a Jersey City income tax like NYC residence tax? 2) Is there a real estate attorney that specializes in Jersey City real etate that someone can recommend or has a good experience with? Thanks for everyone's input in advance. Danny
