USE IT TO PAVE THE ROADS!!!!
If I have to replace another flat tire I'm going to flip out. Those damn low profile runflats get bubbles when you hit these enormous potholes, and at $250 a pop I can hardly afford to keep replacing them. I've shredded two in the past year and it looks as though I'm going to need another one soon.

J.C. tops stimulus list in Hudson
Hudson gets $ for energy efficiency Saturday, March 28, 2009 Jersey Journal WASHINGTON - Hudson County communities will receive more than $4 million in federal stimulus money that is earmarked for energy efficiency projects and programs, Sen. Robert Menendez announced yesterday. Jersey City is the top recipient in the county, with $2,329,500. Bayonne ($521,900), Union City ($521,600), North Bergen ($514,000), Hoboken, ($161,100), West New York ($182,800) and Kearny ($158,600) will also receive funding through the Energy Efficiency Block Grants program. "We are pleased to continue to be the recipient of federal funding for infrastructure, public safety, public housing, community development, road improvements and for energy efficiency programs," Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy said in a statement. "President Obama has kept his commitment to assist the urban centers, like Jersey City, who are the economic engines driving the economy. The administration is now in the process of determining how to best utilize these funds." The money will be used by the municipalities to support energy-saving initiatives and improve energy efficiency in transportation, buildings and other sectors, Menendez said in a statement. "This funding is a job-generator, a cost-saver and a renewable energy-producer, all of which are key components to an economic recovery for families in our state," said Menendez, a member of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. "New Jersey is leading the way to a new, stronger economy with our development, manufacturing and use of solar power, LED lighting and other forms of cutting-edge, green technology." In all, New Jersey municipalities and counties will receive a total of $75.5 million from the economic recovery package. JOURNAL STAFF
