I was in Hollywood Fried Chicken the other day and there was something running around the drop ceilings... no joke! They do have really good bad food - though I didn't get anything this time around.
...also what is with the 24hr places? Why do both Paradise and A-1 allow bums to ask for money out in front?

Good advice, I would take it if I were you.

For quick conveniences, and crappy sandwiches, A-1 Deli on Grove Street is open 24 hours. A favorite of mine is the Flamingo Diner on Montgomery Street by the waterfront...that's also 24 hours. Sadly, that's really it in terms of 24 hour places. Everything else closes at like, midnight.

Does anyone know if there are any places around here, be it a food store, restaurant, anything really, that is open 24 hours? I find myself often at 1 AM remembering that I need to buy Milk, or am really hungry and don't have anything here, and I'm at a loss. I don't have a car around, so I was hoping something in the downtown area was open late.
