I put in my order to paylessdecor... let's see how it goes. Thanks for the advice. Ikea didn't have any sizes close to what I needed.

I got mine at IKEA. They are awesome and a lot cheaper than anywhere I looked. They have a bunch of different sizes. I have 8ft tall windows and they fit perfectly. They cost something like 39 bucks for each window when I would have spent 100 each at blinds to go.

I just ordered some from paylessdecor.com and was quite happy with the results. One of the blinds was shipped damaged but I filled out a form online telling them about the damage and two days later I had a replacement blind.

Their prices are much lower than Home Depot. And they will mail you free samples.

Anyone have a recommendation? I am looking for nice faux wood slats cut to size. Home Depot will take three weeks, and most other stores only sell generic white ones. Thanks!

Google "Blinds to go" and see where their nearest location is?

Good Luck

Did you go to Home Depot yet? I know when my friend bought blinds in the city, the person who helped them said that HD can help them with it. I think it was something like $100 to do the installation for you.

We put in the blinds last time, it was a huge pain in the ass.

I'd rather just get someone to do it and do it right (the ones we did ourselves never worked 100% probably from my own terrible construction abilities).

I'm going to buy some blinds from Home Depot for my apartment, does anyone know of a good person/service that will install blinds?

Thanks!
