Trump's only discrepancy (besides the blond pubic hair comb over on his scalp) was claiming 1000's when it was at best a few hundred within JC doing this.

There was a story in the Washington Post on September 18, 2011 detailing the Muslims cheering 9/11 in Jersey City.
This guy spent $4 and bought the story from their archives. Looks like Trump's right. And the people in this thread who relayed stories of Jersey City Muslims celebrating 9/11 on their roofs were 100% dead on. "In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners? plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river." http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives ... the-truth-is-optional.php

Asylum means your life is threaten it is the same as refugees and yes, they were too young but their father applied for them. Instead of being grateful, they bombed their adopted country, so why shouldn't people be nervous? On CNN today, it was reported the USA has allowed 2 million people to come here since 2000, the majority are Muslims. I have no problem with that, but to say people should have no concerns, I don't buy that, a caliphate was declared. Some will ignore this but others will not.
Concerning the Star Ledger, I said the article was in a 2 week period. 9/11 was in the paper for a long time but I think it is was within that time frame. It was not the next day.

He was 9 years old when his family came to the US. He and his brother turned to violence because of beliefs they picked up in the US. And no, they were not refugees, and did not apply for asylum. They entered the US on tourist visas, which have a much lower level of scrutiny.

He and his family had traveled to the United States on a tourist VISA and subsequently claimed asylum during their stay in 2002. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen on September 11, 2012.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzhokhar_Tsarnaev What do you think asylum mean? There was no film crew in Paterson but CNN did a report in 2009 on threatening Muslim activities in NYC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5BtQgTGOI4

I know what I read, so if I were Trump, I would scour the Star Leger the two weeks after 9/11. It was a story. Personally, I feel sorry for the refugees. But the Boston Bombers brothers were refugees from Chechnya and their thank you to enter this country was a big blast.

People say all sorts of things after traumatic events. Eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable, especially over time. E.g. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/do-the-eyes-have-it/ There were lots of rumors about alleged celebrations by Muslims in NJ, in NYC, at Dunkin Donuts (yes really), none of which turned out to be true. (e.g. http://www.snopes.com/rumors/dunkin.asp) Trump is almost certainly doing the same thing, and misremembering footage from 9/11. The real issue is that, instead of recognizing that his memory is incorrect, he is a) doubling down on it, and b) using such inflammatory falsehoods to demonize our fellow citizens.

Yes!!!!!! Liars! TRENTON ? Critics from New Jersey and beyond sharply rebuked Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday, a day after the billionaire businessman said during a campaign rally that he saw "thousands and thousands" of people cheering in Jersey City as the Twin Towers fell on Sept. 11, 2001. Trump, a real estate mogul and former Atlantic City casino tycoon, stood by his story Sunday morning, saying during an appearance on ABC's "This Week" that there "were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations." "I know they don't like to talk about it," he said, "but it was well covered at the time. There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it ? a heavy Arab population that were cheering as the buildings came down. Not good." But while images of Muslims celebrating in areas of the Middle East were broadcast on television at the time, a search of news accounts does not reveal any confirmed reports of mass cheering in Jersey City, which is located directly across the Hudson River from Manhattan. http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/ ... se.html#incart_river_home

Yvonne, the Reuters article that I linked to said that the "celebration" in Patterson never happened. I note that you have not linked to the Star-Ledger article. In any case, Trump is still a damnable liar. There were not "thousands and thousands" of people cheering in Jersey City on 9/11 as the towers fell. I was there. I know.

Chump is a liar and those who heard stories, heard them from liars. I did hear about the five dancing Jews our "Israeli allies" who were deported, since it was on the news when it happened.
