I haven't tried it so I don't know how it rates, but there's a Polish place on Newark up the hill, roughly opposite Fiesta, just short of Five Corners.

We've been trying for 2 weeks now, and still nothing. No sign or information. Our cravings are getting stronger now that it's gone. Does anyone have any additional info?

We tried to have brunch there last Sunday and it was closed - no explanation posted.

Tania sold the place, I think around a year ago. Although the new owners did not make any major changes, it wasn't quite the same.

I'd be really sad if it was gone. Since my wife and her mother are Polish I usually get all the Polish food I want at home. But Tania's was a pretty good restaurant. We would sometimes hold Conservancy meetings there. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there as well. Everyone ordered a ton of food, and Tania also arranged to have an entire extra spread of food, including fresh salmon, there. It was a great dinner at a remarkably affordable price.

I made my first trip to Tania's in hopes of finding some good Polish food and much to my dismay the place was closed even though I arrived within business hours. Also, the phone number is disconnected. Is the only Polish restaurant in JC (that I know of) gone for good?

Can someone do some sluething and find out?

Are there ANY other good Polish - Czech restaurants in JC?
