I have an online bank also, but what I usually do when I need laundry money is go to the BCB on Washington and Sussex, use their ATM, then walk in and ask for quarters.
They're fine with it because you just used their service and paid for it. Quote:

Every Chase branch I have gone to (including Washington, and the one at 50 Columbus) have 1 ATM that dispenses 20s and 50s. But I don't think they would dispense all 50s. Never saw one that dispenses 100s

If you want to settle for measly 50s, bank of America atms always dispense a portion with a 300+ withdrawal.

Not aware of any in JC proper, but I know some TD Banks have really awesome ATMs now that let you pick your own combination of $100s, $50s, $20s, $5s, and $1s. So much easier to take out a useful $500 with 5 $20s, 2 $50s, 3 $100s than dealing with a massive stack of $20s that are uncomfortable in my pocket.
I go to the one on 23rd and 7th and hop on the PATH, but that's not exactly convenient if you already aren't in Manhattan.

I guess a little more explanation... I have no local branches, my bank is all ATM, app, and mail based. They reimburse all ATM fees, but if you need a hundo, there is no teller to walk up to. I sometimes prefer one for a birthday card or the like, so I was just curious if anyone knows of one in the area. Chase has them, but the ones I have tried of theirs in JC just gave 20's.

You have to get money the old fashion way: Fill out a check to 'Cash', endorse it, and ask for big bills.
BTW: There is talk now of getting rid of the $100 bill.

Anybody know any ATM's in JC that dish out $100's? All the ones I go to seem to only give $20's.
