Is the construction project in question the one at Van Vorst and Morris?

Does anyone know how long they're going to tie up Van Vorst St. with their "no parking" permit signs they've had up since around Thanksgiving?

I have dreamed plinking one of those rats with an air rifle... At a safe distance of course.

I have nothing against picketing. Nothing against union workers.

BUT, it was final exam week at St. Peter's Prep, I'm sure all of the whistling and chanting was conducive to test taking.

Also, it's sort of catchy: "There's a rat in the building! RAT GO HOME!"

The giant rat and whistle folks were picketing a construction site near my office in NYC. I didn't think too much of it, until I saw that the developer was Toll Brothers. After which, I gave the picketers a fist pump each time I walked by.

Yeah, I hear it every morning too, right outside the apartment. I can turn my alarm clock off now, probably pack it away. I don't expect the whistling and chanting to go away anytime soon at least until the building is finished. My sleeping pattern is completely messed up and I'm getting delirious. As annoying as it is, starting to get funny... I heard it in the first "rat" chant today, the guy sounded fatigued almost hungover from the night before. I really do hope they get a sore throat, preferably bronchitis. I do notice they have a water cooler, I may consider filling it with RAT POISON when they're not looking.

Now you understand the value unions add.

Anyone else who lives near St. Peter's prep and the construction site hear the obnoxious union workers protesting every morning starting at 7 with their god awful bull horn? Is the bull horn chanting even legal? They then proceed to blow whistles. It is driving me more insane than the construction noise itself.
