The funniest sight of my day (yesterday) was one of JCPD's finest TEXTING on his blackberry while driving one of the little police buggies.

You made the right choice. Had you "scolded" the cop you would have risked being handcuffed and arrested for "resisting arrest."

Jersey City cops are nothing if not arrogant.

Had you gone to the precinct to make a complaint they'd all have had a good laugh. I speak from experience. Professional they AIN'T!

The other night while driving east down Hutton St. I was approaching the corner of Central Ave. and about to make a right turn. A cop in uniform talking on his cellphone with the radio blasting parked on the S/W corner in an un-marked SUV decides to back up crossing Hutton in reverse to grab the parking spot on the N/W corner almost hitting me as I was turning on the green he had the red. I did not have time to scold the cop but should have made a complaint in the precient.
