Is it me or has anyone else noticed the oversized uniforms many of the JC police choose to wear? Just this morning on Marin Blvd. I saw two more officers with pants 4" too long and shirts that were 2 sizes too big. There must be regulations they need to adhere to when it comes to size of their unifroms. Pure sloppiness in my opinion.

I KNOW. I SAW A JCPD NOT BRUSH HIS TEETH AFTER EATING AT HELEN'S PIZZA! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!

SM lived downtown JC, around 8th street and Coles. Bob drove buses in hoboken. Slanted and Enchanted Redux has some info in the liner notes.

rollie is slang for those special improvement projects installed downtown in cities. i think the name is a bastardized version of Ronald, the ex-jersey state senator that came up with the idea.

What do you think of Rollie?

I was going for a run downtown and I saw one of those new "rollies" that the city is installing on some of the corners. I thought they would be an eyesore, and take away from the charm of some of the older buildings, but they really don't. The specific rollie i saw was tasteful, and actually made me laugh. any thoughts?

you guys are both wrong, as an insider i know the truth.
Hard Grove Cafe is actually a huge supporter of Zach De la Rocha. The ad was a picture of him, but it was blown up too big by the newspaper, so just his shirt appeared in the ad.
