I predicted this when we were having the "lite rail" discussions. I suggested elevation or in some cases like the Martin Luther King stop, to have the rail below where the tracks are. A rail line from there went to the Jersey Shore.

This is right in front of where I live. I regularly see cars run the red light at this intersection. You have cars speeding out of the parking lot trying to beat the red light, cars that refuse to wait at the red light to make a right, and all other kinds of nonsense.
I don't derive pleasure from seeing someone get into a wreck, but that is the unfortunate consequence of driving like an idiot.

I was waiting for the light rail at Jersey Avenue at that time - the delay was announced as due to police investigation at Garfield Avenue.

Darwin almost won. Note to driver-if you want to tackle a Light Rail train, leave the Scion at home and take the Suburban.
