Off topic a bit, but how come this sort of stuff doesn't end up in the Jersey Journal when it happens downtown, but does when it's in Greenville?

I believe pepper spray is legal and can be bought most drug stores. Mace is a different story and I believe is illegal.

I'm glad the police actually were able to find this guy. Also, that the woman was not hurt. Although, he'll just plead down to a non-violent crime, do probation, and be back out doing the same thing. Because I'm sure he was just about to get his life together and was interviewing for legitimate jobs.

A woman was mugged at knife point on Monday night as she was keying in to her house. The man came up from behind with a knife, demanded her bag and took off with her bag in a van. The thief has been arrested. But it is a lesson to all of us that we need to be conscious of our surroundings and safe at all times. If you do not have proper lighting outside your house/apt door, install some. This will alleviate a thief being able to hide in the shadows.
