I loved brunch there. Definitely turned off by the tasting menu concept.

I'm really surprised by all of the love for chain/box stores. Maybe someday they could just move the mall to Newark Avenue, or we could see what makes the stores along route 22 so successful and make that happen here.

The woman in question was 3rd degree "burnt" by the coffee:
Liebeck was hospitalized for eight days while she underwent skin grafting, followed by two years of medical treatment.

Had a very disappointing brunch yesterday. Food at Asbury location is very good, so I was really hoping for better.

It seems like "plaid shirt" is the uniform for a lot of restaurants now: Marco & Pepe, Porta, and even LITM last night.

That has definitely NOT been my household's experience (live in JC, don't work in NYC), nor that of our neighbors.

I've worked with FOL, recognize their issues, and still am very, very opposed with this AEG deal that the taxpayers will wind up paying for.

I thought I had heard that it was going on the corner of Grove and Columbus, next to the parking garage/Subway.

That makes me very sad. I've really enjoyed going in her restaurant over the years, and always loved talking with her.

I hope the cats will be okay.

It was open last Thursday night (yea!), but not on New Year's Eve (boo!). Terry said the water made it up to the bar.
