This is starting to become too frequent. The Music Box on 7th and Monmouth is a magnet for trouble. Last night the cops had to come out to break up what sounded like an ugly fight. People screaming, long past midnight. I think the owners of this crappy hole-in-the-wall need to start being help accountable for their drunken idiot customers getting wasted and belligerent.

I got a ticket with an undocumented offense, and when I went to pay it online, it said I had to show up to court. I was also told it was $42 at first, but I couldn't pay it off. To top if off, when I went down to the court on Summit, the woman in the booth could not tell me what the offense was. Something stinks.

I've already missed two court dates. Whats the worst that could happen if I dont show up again?

I also got a 332-22 ticket for parking at 8th and Monmouth. I was parked close to the corner, but when I go to pay the ticket online, it says it is not payable. Therefore, I must go to court. I even called up the municipal office, and they were baffled that the ticket did not specify the offense and I had to go to court.

Is this for real? Mandatory court appearance for parking too close to the curb?

My gf and I honestly thought the woman working the wine promotion was the Playmate at first. We thought she was more attractive.

I've lived in hi-rises before in NYC. Some had bugs, some didn't. I've seen the silver-yellowy ones in my current place, that's fine. It's the big shiny black ones that I can't handle. I guess I should have asked if anyone knows of any buildings that have been infestation-free since they have been built. I don't expect the older buildings to be bug-free.

That being said, does anyone have any positive experiences with hi-rises in downtown JC?

My girlfriend and I are looking to move into a hi-rise somewhere downtown. All we need is a one bedroom that is cat, and preferably dog, friendly. Which are some good ones and which are ones to avoid?

PS If anyone has ever seen a cockroach in one of these buildings, please tell me because that's our deal-breaker
