I seriously can't wait for someone to start taking the law into their own hands, one day, and I hope soon, someone will turn around a beat these kids to death. I'm serious. They don't have the right to live. If they are killed, no one will miss them, and the world will go on just a little better than it was before. I would love to bring some of my Navy seal friends or better yet someone from the Mossad (HaMossad leModi'in v'leTafkidim Meyuhadim) המוסד למודיעין ולתפקידים מיוחדים‎, and go for a leisurly stroll down MLK blvd. Effing scum! If this was only Montana!

And this will work about as well as the "Just say no" or "Say yes to abstinence" campaigns which lead to a rise in drug addicted, pregnant teenagers. The fact of the matter is, (and I know this from experience) making them aware of such things at a young age will just get some of them interested in something that they probably knew nothing about before. However, I will dare to dream of a better tomorrow.

It still doesn't change the fact that the Latin Lounge attracts trouble, it's as simple as that. Every Friday and Saturday night especially in the summer, at 3:30am till dawn, packs of drunk and coked up individuals blast music and try to solicit women all through the streets. I mean - go home! Idiots. And the fact of the matter is this, the Lamp Post does not atract that type of crowd nor does Indios which is around the corner. So it's more than an assumption, it's based on fact and experience that the Latin Lounge is a s**thole which attracts a**holes. Sorry, it's just fact. Yes, there were victims, but there are victims every Friday and Saturday night including all of us who have to deal with the immature actions of the patrons who frequent the Latin Lounge.

Ok, I can't bite my tongue any longer - The Latin Lounge is a notorious Coke bar. If you want coke, go there, everyone knows that. I used to live on that block for 16 years and I would say that there is an incident that has to do with the Latin Lounge every two weeks or so. It's coke! The root of the matter is coke! The guy probably wanted some and he couldn't score! It's simple. I'm sorry - but that place is a haven for trouble. It offers nothing positive toward the neighborhood. There is nothing good that comes out of there. I'm sick of that place, walk by, the smell that wafts out of there sums it up. Pure S**t.

First of all, can we clear one thing up. This incident had nothing to do with the Lamp Post, the patrons and "want to be" patrons were in/going to the Latin Lounge. As for crowds outside of bars, well.....yes, the crowd (especially from the Latin Lounge) can get rather loud and annoying at night due to the blatant drunkenness and use of shhh...., however......when I moved around there I knew that there were a few bars in the vicinity and I said to myself, well, it's obviously going to get loud some nights but....I can always go get a nice cold pint. My point, don't move into an area with bars if you don't want annoyances, it comes with the territory. However, this does not condone the behavior, this incident was crazy, I really do wish the Latin Lounge would disappear and a new bar would open up. The patrons who go there are not from that neighborhood - this is obvious by the amount of cars parked around on weekend nights. Wishful thinking - food for thought - cheers!

ok, mind you, this is not about the food or anything there (I've never ate there, never would, love REAL authentic food, and mostly cook myself) anyway... on my many leisurely walks over the years I have noticed a horrific odor of (Burnt?) overcooked, grilled meat. When you walk by, it seems as though the exhaust is blowing right down and onto the passersby. So I guess my question is, are the owners that ignorant that they don't realize their horrific smelling kitchen greets possible customers and innocent pedestrians? Well -food for thought I guess.

Damn, that is one heavy, hell of a question. I can only say: you'll know, when you know, meaning........?

If you don't have to call the cops in this town, don't. It's like waking up an orphaned, pissed off bear.

Maybe start screaming back louder than they are, I think that's what I would do, out scream them, have a blast, go nuts!

A limo will probably have business plates, therefore, it is illegal to park commercial vehicles on the street. But she's right, the local govt. sucks, the police are basically useless and the thieves and thugs have gained the upper hand, they know the system and how to beat it, and in return they beat us. And this: "I ain't do those two cars yo, but I do break into cars," says it all about the scumbags that do this. Trust me, I know how it feels, I had my car broken into 3 times in 10 years, and I consider that lucky! Perhaps poisoning the door handles of cars...............................
