If you drive or use Critter Cab, Dr. Thornton on Westside Avenue (Westside Animal Hospital) is good.
I don't know much about the vet at Newport. I also highly recommend Dr. Hatch in Secaucus NJ. Only 15 minutes away and you can use the Critter Cab to pick up and drop off pets.

I picked up two heavy duty file cabinets and one locker from the Salvation army for 30 bucks a few years ago. The locker was large enough for skis and the locking file cabinets were perfect for tools etc.
great price and heavy as hell.

My brother was mugged near 77 Magnolia coming home from work early this month. He's not an easy target being reasonably streetwise, but one had a gun and another had a bat. He has lived his entire life in the area and never had a problem until recently.
October is also Gang Initiation month, so expect more of this random stupidity.

Any of his past acts of heroism as a POW will be a footnote in his life's story after this campaign season and his career are in the history books.

I would check out and ask for advice from CATJC, a local yahoo group. Great cat people who could probably answer your question. You may also want to contact Companion Animal Trust on petfinder. CAT is very dedicated to the welfare of feral and domesticated felines in the area.

This happened to me a few years ago.
The city fixed the street and did some sewer maintenance. The plumber said that during the paving, my sewer line was damaged. After the runaround for 2 months, I paid 7000 dollars to rip up a newly paved street to repair my sewer line.

Also, medical waste was not properly disposed of. 12,000 dollars withdrawn from bank account in April. Unbelievable. Union City sucks! Fargin crooks!
