in that one video the webmaster posted, healy goes, i did nothing wrong, I SAID NOTHING WRONG, that seems to imply he knew what was going on at the table but he was able to do and say the right things in order to avoid the indictment. what a POS.

as much as i want to see healy go down in this -- at least he and it appears lou manzo and maybe some others i haven't read the indictments for, shielded themselves in some way, and had an aide or friend do the dirty work for them. some of these guys like vega, catrillo and harvey to an extent had their hands out grabbing the envelopes stuffed with cash..... with no problem... crazy...

would make sense if it was some city vehicle, perhaps the workers were drunk and feared losing their jobs.... better to take a chance on leaving the scene and not getting caught/saving their jobs -- then get hit with a DUI and termination.

this is a distinct possibility..... the damage to my rear bumber appears to be struck by a vehicle with a bumper higher off the ground than a regular car but i suppose it could be an SUV as well..

The security camera at the school has a decent shot of having caught it, the security guard there even told me so, but he also said that I would need the police to review the tape and that they nor I could without them. The police told me that if there were no fatalities, they won't review surveillance footage.

that's ridiulous....20 minutes of their time could solve this crime...

i like DragonXJC's Kannekt review

Editor's rating of this review - 5/5

Review - The locals know it as Maria's , because that's the owners name. The bartenders are all female, Dominican, and beautiful. It's not a place for the yuppies,(sorry no wine or margaritas!), It's an actual bar. Play pool, dance a merengue/bachata/reggaeton with one of the waitress or bar regulars. Never any rowdiness just a good time. Not for the pampered it is a no frills Spanish bar.

There's no food, unless it is a holiday, then Maria throws down a proper Dominican buffet.

This is the the proper way to do a stick up. A bandanna, no tacky ski mask or hoody and "I'll blow your head off" is a classic line, it is firm yet not trendy, vulgar or disrespectful. Old school, I like that in a mugger. If only he had opened with "stick em up". I would pay extra just to hear that.

did you leave immediately or get your food and then leave?

i have only been to this place once back when it first opened. i don't even remember it quite frankly but my wife claims it made her ill whenever i bring up going there again. i happend to check reviews of this place on other sites, tripadvisor, menupix etc and the concensus all seems to be the same regarding the poor service and lost customers. food aside.... i wonder how well this place would be doing if they were just a little more friendly to patrons

PS: Publius - how did they "ban" you - did you sign your real name to a post & they compared that to your credit card? Did you put your picture in your post? I don't get how an anonymous post from a message board could get someone "banned"...

the detail in his previous post is what did him in..... the owner i suppose remembered him based on the specific situation... that is hilarious

It happened in Crackton! That is what i call that area. I enjoy bums banging on my car window while i wait in line to get some Mcdonald's or bums pissing behind my huisband's car. I also really enjoy the lovely people who have BBQ's in the parking lot over by the tree towards the highway. aaaah Crackton. so lovely. My form designed the School right next to it.

I thought some developer was required to put money into that shopping center to revamp it at some point or something. does anyone know about that?

i agree the service in the meat dept sucks. no one is ever there too help. there is an older guy in the fish area that is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. he has often come from the fish area to serve me in the butcher area. the deli manager is definitely a trip. he is damn excited about new cheeses. i haven't had any experience with expirations on the same day but once i was looking for skirt steak and i asked one of the butcher guys which one was better between two different packagings, one was more expensive i forget why exactly i think it was supposed to be better quality or something, but he just told me to buy the cheaper one because it was the same thing... i appreciated the honesty but it makes you wonder what is going on back there..

Re: Homeowner tax website?

i received a letter from some attorney in montville nj regarding my property and wondering if anyone else has come into contact with these types of letters and if it is just propaganda. the letter basically states they can lower my property tax bill by x amount of dollars due to the fact the assessed value of the property for tax purposes is significantly more than what i paid for the property. The claim to be able to lower my tax payment by having the property assessed at the value i paid for the property last year thus lowering my tax bill. has anyone had any experience with this? it seems like if this is accurate it could be something i could request myself however this is all new to me. any info would be appreicated. thanks

This just sounds like another battle in a long war you are having with your landlord. I never liked being a high maintenance tenant myself. If I had a problem I could resolve cheaply I did it myself. This whole "get over here and fix this!" and " I have rights!" just makes me cringe. I don't want to see my landlord unless I absolutely have to. Sounds like you had a bug/rodent problem. Either buy some boric acid (about $3.00 a bottle) or let the landlord do the exterminator thing. Sounds like a case of stubborn mule meets stubborn mule.

i would have to agree with this -- i was the same way when i was a tenant. i didn't want to see the landlord unless it was necessary
