Why?

Did you attend the Loew's Theater Candidate Forum? She spent a good portion of her time complaining that the other candidates opted to stand up while speaking. Then, when she was told that she could stand up too, she stubbornly remained seated. That is some next level pettiness right there.

She said that she would convince Amazon to open it's new headquarters in Jersey City, an epic pipe-dream to say the least! Did she even submit a bid? Was she planning on getting Amazon to move to Ward C... you know, the area she hopes to represent? Was it a B.S. fantasy or an outright lie? Either way, she won't be able to deliver.

Ward C needs someone better than that.

Fulop raises campaign cash aboard developer's yacht

JERSEY CITY -- A developer behind a 308-unit residential building slated for Monitor Street invited guests aboard his new yacht last week to raise money for Mayor Steve Fulop's re-election effort.

Frank Cretella is developing the property with Ironstate as part of a redeveloper agreement with the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency. The city's pay-to-play laws prohibit anyone in a redevelopment agreement with the city from contributing or soliciting contributions to local candidates.

I love logging on to JCList and seeing The Healy Clone?s campaign ad at the top of the page. It says ?The Future of Jersey City? how funny is that knowing that his administration did NOTHING to better JC while in office for 9 years. Does he get the joke?

WATCH: Fulop talks election, track record, with The Jersey Journal editorial board

Jersey City's Nov. 7 municipal election is just around the corner, and when voters go to the polls two weeks from today they'll be deciding between providing Mayor Steve Fulop a second term in office, or giving his lone challenger, attorney Bill Matsikoudis, the keys to City Hall.

I voted for Fulop and Boggiano last time around. I don't think I'll be splitting the ticket that hard this time. I am leaning toward Rekha Nandwani for Ward C Council.

Thanks for posting this. I can't wait to pull the lever for Fulop again.

I'm a JC long-timer at this point, and have seen firsthand the transformation created by Fulop in two terms as my councilman and one as our mayor. It's nothing short of amazing, the change he brought first to the downtown and now to the full city.

He's friendly, smart, motivated, and tireless. If more candidates were like him, more people would believe in politics.

Good and there are a lot of interesting choices for the Council seats. I am voting for Team Fulop for At Large and Ward Council members. Even if voters have a desire to vote for Mayor Fulop and vote for a non-Team Fulop member then of course they will do so. I just hope they don?t vote for any candidate who is connected to the Matsikoudis (aka Healy) ticket. If he gets his picks onto the Council it will be detrimental to Jersey City?s forward progress. As you can see from his many attempts to stop the election move. It would be even worse than a Boggiano or Yun no vote.

Team Healy had their chance to bring real change to Jersey City for 9 years and did nothing. Now they want another try? Send a loud clear message come Tuesday November 7th, 2017 that we don?t want him back and sniffing around in 2021.

We'll have extensive coverage of each race, starting with Ward A. I believe that's scheduled to begin Thursday.

(I found this on nj.com Jersey Journal. It only gives ages and professions.)

35 vying for the nine Jersey City council seats in upcoming election
Updated on September 11, 2017 at 1:27 PM Posted on September 9, 2017 at 7:56 AM
By Terrence T. McDonald The Jersey Journal

A funeral director, three lawyers and a self-defense cardio fitness instructor who goes by the name Master Sup are among the 35 men and women who will seek nine City Council seats in November's municipal election.

Hey dummy you have been harassing me for two years on nj.com. Out of your close to 400 posts 380 of them are nasty sexual replies to my posts within 5 minutes of me posting them the rest are posts looking for me to reply to a thread. Now you actually tracked me down over here and doing the same thing. (are you that lonely?) Let me again try to save you from embarrassment. First for months you swore I was a guy named Dancing Tony. That was until the real Dancing Tony a DJ from Downtown posted for you to stop using his stage name. Hilarious. Now for the last year you have been saying I am a Bruce Tretheway from Cherry Hill, NJ whose has a mail order bride. Also how I am going to off my mail order bride and Mayor Fulop?s wife so I can hook up with Steve. Dude get some help.

You are either a master manipulator or an idiot. (Hmmm) The reason I say master manipulator is because my industry it used to be very competitive still kind of is but sadly everything is mostly outsourced offshore. We had a loser (no offense well maybe) who would try and play mind games on hard working employees. ?Hey Joe you look so tired today are you sick.? ?Gee it looks like you are have problems do you really think you can deliver the project on time.? "Let?s ask for more time you look wore out?. Over and over to try and bring a person down. Never worked.

I hope that is what you are trying to do discredit my JC posts and bring me down otherwise you are a dummy. Healy?s guy is not going to win get over that dream and also hopefully none of Healy?s guys Council members will get in either.

(I see some other candidates have threads (some shamelessly started by themselves) I?ll start one for Mayor Fulop)

As JC old-timer (aka a grumpy old man) I am voting for Mayor Fulop and Team Fulop. I can?t believe how far Jersey City has come in last four years. He deserves to be rewarded with a full Team of YES votes for the next 4 years for bringing ALL of JC back to life. Can?t wait to see how far JC will have progressed come 2021.

Rolando Lavarro for At-Large Council
Joyce Waterman for At-Large Council
Daniel Rivera for At-Large Council

Denise Ridley Ward A Council
Mira Prinz-Arey Ward B Council
John Hanussak Ward C Council
Moriah "Mo" Kinberg Ward D Council
Jermaine Robinson Ward F Council

PS ? friends, family, and work mates used to mock me for never leaving JC, they don?t anymore. They now ask me if I know of anything that is available for their young adult children?or themselves. I do tell them they should have simply?neverleft.
