Yeah whenever anyone says oh the newcomers to jersey city don't have cars I just point in that direction 2 buildings has brought at least a hundred cars all parked illegal some blocking a two lane street. It's not fair to see it completely ignored. But I never want to hear about how they don't bring cars to new developments ever again.

The entire zone north of 10th & west of Jersey is a wild west fustercluck of illegal or unmarked parking, usually by PA personnel.

There's also a tremendous number of cars parked by the Cast Iron Lofts, possibly tenants there who don't want to pay for the garage or even Downtowners or Hobokeners taking advantage of the fact that the city hasn't marked the streets there and they can park for weeks at a time.

Can't see why this is exempt, probably when road work was done they removed the signs. I would call the city (201) 547-4900 and find out.

Does anyone know if Street cleaning/alternate side-of-the-street parking is enforced on Coles on the block just north of 10th? There are no signs indicating such, but the block south of 10th has the normal signage.
