I was just thinking the same thing. Why would anyone contact PSE&G regarding a broken/malfunctioning WALK signal? That should fall under the purview of NJ DOT, or if the road is considered a county or city street, then the appropriate department within those jurisdictions. But, seriously, why would the electricity and gas utility be in charge of road signage and signals?

That seems like it would not even be a PSE&G issue, more of a DOT concern.

Thanks! I will contact her tomorrow. I just submitted a service request on the Jersey City Government website also.

I usually walk down south to the next stoplight to avoid being hit by the crazy drivers trying to make a left. It's bedlam.

I have been reporting this issue to PSEG for weeks (3 phone calls).

The 'Walk' signal on the Shoprite side of Marin Blvd is not working. You press the button to cross the street and the "Walk" signal never comes on. When you attempt to cross the street, once cars stop on the left, the drivers leaving the shopping plaza turn on you from the right when you're 1/2 way across Marin Blvd. It is VERY dangerous crossing Marin Blvd after grocery shopping (note - the 'Walk' light works when going to Shoprite by the projects on the opposite side of Marin). PSEG is not fixing the problem. One PSEG 'customer service rep' even told me that 400 Marin Blvd doesn't exist! Who else do I contact? It is a shame watching people nearly hit/running for their lives everyday (me included).
