View Larger Map Pizza deliveryman is targeted by masked man with brick Tuesday, November 16, 2010 A masked man threw a brick at a Jersey City pizza delivery man and shattered his car window early yesterday, officials said. The 41-year-old employee of Domino's Pizza on Newark Avenue was making a delivery on Van Wagenen Avenue at 12:04 a.m. when he found himself on a dead-end street, reports said. He used his cell phone to contact the pizza buyer and was told to walk up to a nearby warehouse door, reports said. The delivery man got out of his car and was approached by a man with a bandanna over his face who asked him the time, reports said, adding that sensing danger, the delivery man began running. The masked man then threw a brick that struck the delivery man's shoulder and smashed though the car's driver's side window, reports said. The delivery man jumped into the car, started the motor, slammed it in gear and took off, reports said. MICHAELANGELO CONTE
