It was the same business plan tried over and over again, no wonder it didn't work. Either go all in and fill the place up with groceries like Tender Shoot or make it a cafe.

Hopefully whoever tries it next has a new idea.

What can we put in that space that will survive? This is getting ridiculous. Zero for 3 on the market/food concept. Maybe a high end daycare or indoor playspace? (either one for humans OR canines - either would work in the 'hood).

Just want to throw in that the owner is a Michelin-rated chef; the quality of prepared food jumped up several notches already.

The prices have also come down significantly. Finally, we have a small-business owner who understands what it takes to succeed in this location.

Come take a look for yourselves!

They're gonna be a pickup location for an upstate CSA this summer. cool.

As long as the place isn't crawling with toddlers during the day, I might actually stop in.

Maybe it's $10 for the combination of sauce, pasta and baguette?

Looks like it is, and if so, it's pretty reasonable for the bundle. I'd say the HVH Tomato Basil sauce runs about $5, the spaghetti (which looks like Bionaturae) is about $2.50 and the baguette is about the same.

Doesn't Marco and Pepe usually sell them for a few bucks?
