Nope. It's the former Kitchen Cafe. The place doesn't really jump out at you from the street. You can easily walk by and not even know it's there. Corner of Greene and Sussex.

I've been there twice now and the food has been excellent both times. BYO is always nice too. Hope this place does well.

I ate there tonight. BYOB is a great option.

I had Tandir, lamb chunks and rice. It was very good and the portions were excellent. Others at the table had the Chilean bass and it was tender, tasty, and enough to share as a meal.

Loved the hummus and baba ghanoush which is as good as it gets. I am not crazy about the pita bread which was a bit doughy, but all in all, an excellent dinner for three with appetizers.

The bill was 48 dollars.

I am pretty familiar with Turkish food (lived there for 14 months while in the USAF) and was pleased. I will try the Kofta or Adana kabob next time.

Had dinner at Rumi and thought it was pretty good. Prices were reasonable, food and service were good and the portions were on the arge side.

Didn't know the pkqce is BYO but hope to take advantsgr of that in the future.

Glad to see his place replace Kitchen Cafe. Turkish cuisine is a nice new option in JC and this place does it pretty well.

I love it.

This will make a nice weekend morning replacement for Flamingo during their renovations. And maybe after.

I found their menu in my lobby today. Sounds very interesting, and inexpensive. I can't wait to try them.
