And this is why Newark Ave. must remain a two-way street choked with buses, dollar vans and illegally double-parked cars. TRAFFIC FIGHTS CRIME!

The definition of Proceeds is, "Money received by the seller of an asset."
In otherwords, the $1 was given in return for not getting a pellet in the ASSet?

Traffic snarls escape plan for 3 charged with robbery
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 By MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER Jersey City police arrested three Newark men on Newark Avenue after they got stuck in traffic following the robbery of a Downtown resident Sunday night, Police Director Sam Jefferson said. At 9:17 p.m. police arrested Tyee Towell, Lavry Niamien and Daron Englin, all 20, charging each with robbing the 17-year-old Bright Street resident, police reports said. The victim flagged down police at Newark Avenue and Monmouth Street saying three men had just robbed him, reports said. He told the cops the men drove off in a black Toyota and pointed to the car that was stuck in traffic at Newark Avenue and Brunswick Street, reports said. The officers dropped in behind the Toyota with lights and sirens on and pulled the car over at Newark Avenue and Fourth Street, reports said. After the men were out of the car, police found a black pellet gun in front of the passenger seat and proceeds from the robbery of the Bright Street boy including $1, a jacket and sweatshirt, reports said.
