IMO it's better than anything downtown. Also better than Burger Joint and Corner Bistro. And at the risk of being run out of town, it's a different burger, but on par with Park Tavern.

Went last night. Burger was decent so was poutine. I would eat again, but it's not crazy good like Burger Joint (Le Parker Meridien) - Bub's Burgers (Carmel, Indiana) or New Park Tavern good. ... but better than Left Bank.

I walked by and spoke to them. Very nice young guys and seems like they are going to keep the interior and bring it back to its roots and redo the outside of the building. A friend told me their location in Montclair is absolutely delicious!

Walked by last night, place is in process of being gutted out.
We poked our heads in, it looks like they tore out the cheap fake ceiling panels and an original tin ceiling was exposed, hope they clean it up and keep it. Anyone know what the building was before becoming Liberty Tax?

Yes, they're still planning on it. They're aiming for an October opening but I think they're still in really early stages and there's a lot of work that has to happen in that space, so I don't think it will be that soon.
