Smart start is opening a downtown jc location. My son is starting there in 2 weeks. right on grove and newark.

My daughter has been at smart start since 2 1/2 (she is now 6 years old and in kindergarten) and we love it. So excited to be able to send our 10month old now.

You should check it out!
Good luck :)

Thank you! My son will be 1 year in September, I have found the Primary prep schol, it will work for pre-K3 and beyond, thank you for the recommendations.
St. Elizabeths looks good, I will check it out, thank you.
Does anybody have any recent personal experience with the Academy Child Care Development Center? The reviews are mixed. I am even willing to drive my son to Smart Start in the Heights, but the traffic on Central can be a pain.
Thank you for the great suggestions, please keep it coming!

This place is in Journal Square near Tonnelle and Pavonia Avenues an easy walk from the St. Peter?s area. It has been around forever.

This one is too far but I always have to throw in a plug for one of my favorites. A lot of JC parents sent their kids there when there wasn?t much in JC years ago.

Good luck.

You didn't mention how old your son is, and I don't remember how early Primary Prep starts off the top of my head, but I heard great things about that school. Perhaps it's worth checking it out.

Any recommendations?

I have nothing for you, but I can guarantee you that someone in DTJC is going to be REALLY happy if your spot at the River School becomes available. I recently heard from someone that the wait for a spot at the River School is LONG.
