Men set up for robbery at Jersey City motel? By Michaelangelo Conte | The Jersey Journal Follow on Twitter on April 23, 2017 at 4:25 PM JERSEY CITY - Were two men set up for an armed robbery at a Jersey City motel on Tonnelle Avenue early Friday? The victims told police they invited a woman to their room and after she stepped out to get ice, she returned with another woman and a man, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said today. When the man with the two women flashed a gun, the victims ran out of the motel room, Morrill said, adding that they said they heard a gunshot as they fled. Responding Jersey City police officers said they found a bullet hole in a wall in the room. The robbers got away with two cell phones, two debit cards and an identification card. There were no injuries, Morrill said. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Jersey City police tip line at (201) 547 - JAIL.

It must be a few years now.... did the JCPD ever solve the murder of the poor JFK store owner near Journal Square?
If they did, what were the results of the trial?

There were no injuries reported in an early morning shooting that occurred in a Jersey City neighborhood.
The shooting happened in the 60's block of Tonnelle Avenue shortly before 3:25 a.m. sending police to the scene where officers located several shell casings.
