Was up there this afternoon buying some veggies. I talked to the cashier. She told me they are closing in December and the developer also bought the clothing factory next door. She also said the buyers had been trying to get the owner to sell for years.


Oh well... I guess I will have to get more diligent about setting up my grow trays and buying seeds.

Their selection and prices are better than Home Depot and Lowes. I'll miss them.

It's going to be a 60 unit building with 59 parking spaces. Not sure if the corner clothing company is also part of the lot.

rats! the city should stop permitting those bayonne boxes and require a proper apartment building on that spot.

The checkout girl said the owners are selling. Damn. We've bought our spring flowers, herbs & veggies there for decades. What's coming, a row of Bayonne Boxes?
