I went to drive my car around the block to get behind the street sweeper this morning. I ended up on the other side of downtown.
If I had somewhere to be, I would have been furious. I didn't, so it was kind of funny.

But hey, brightside, they've started grading the roads again for repaving in the Post-PSEG era. Thank god, man. Grove is nearly impassable.

It has reached the point of insanity. I drive out to the Hamptons for work once a week and the hardest part of my commute has become getting through Jersey City. It's out of control.

And I thought getting to Edgewater BEFORE was so bad I'd never go to shop there, though the stores are attractive.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous out there, it's like Downtown is in lockdown. Between the sewer work, construction on 139, the closure of Coles and today the closure of 7th and of Monmouth above 10th, plus teh closure of Coles below 16th, getting to and from the Heights from DT is nearly impossible. There seems to be no coordination of permits to keep traffic flowing. The Coles closure at 10th has gone on long enough, they need to open it. NOW!
