Nice pictures. They even had one in the center that shows what looks like filet mignon, scallops and prawns - that may be a bit misleading given the most expensive meal is dinner at $12.99

I'm assuming the salmon sushi and the rest of the Chinese offerings are available during lunch. At $7.99 - this looks like an awesome deal. Not sure how they will make money on that.

The Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet in the Hudson Mall has the black coverings off of the windows. The place is massive looks it like it took over 3 old/vacant stores . Nice addition to the mall. As far a buffet joints go the interior is really beautiful. It has different seating areas with cool lighting in each. The guys working inside on 7/3/15 said they will open in maybe 2 to 3 weeks.

Oh yeah their below website is now working?.

http://hibachigrilljc.com/

PS ? I think it will be a step up from the old Wok n Roll ?brown stuff?.

I last ate at Fun Buffet - the one near the WB

You are a brave soul, when I pass that place it always looks questionable and it also looks like a shady strip club from the outside.

Agree with the sentiment that Wok N Roll wasn't very good...

I last ate at Fun Buffet - the one near the WB - many years ago and I only really went for two reasons: 1. The price. If my memory serves me correctly, the price for lunch was around $5. 2. This extremely greasy cheesesteak casserole type dish. While good, I always felt a few steps closer to death after eating it.

I imagine the offerings at Hibachi Grill to be similar to what they serve over at Flaming Grill in East Rutherford, but hope its quality is more in line with the choices at Tokyo Buffet in Secaucus.

All those cuisines in one place, how bazaar. However anything better than an empty store front. I really like the sushi joint across the road, so they got some competition. I never ate at that big buffet place next to W. bagels so not sure if they would be competition.

There is a flyer in today?s (5/29) paper edition of the Jersey Journal for a new restaurant that is opening in the Hudson Mall. It is called ?Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet?. It will ?offer Italian, American, Japanese, and many other items alongside traditional Chinese fare?. ?250+ fresh made Asian dishes in eleven buffet bars?. ?Fantastic range of freshly prepared sushi?. ?Hibachi Grill?choose your favorite ingredients?watch our chef preparing them?.

The flyer says coming soon and also says ?Now Hiring Hostess & Servers?. I walked by the space and it is pretty large.

The website they give is I guess not up yet www.hibachigrillnj.com (or wrong) It seems like the place is a chain (cover your ears Steve) so here is a link to the one in South Plainfield. Just to get a taste of what is coming.(pun intended) http://www.hibachigrillsupremebuffet.com/

Still miss HM?s Wok N Roll.
