Thank you for the link, but what I'm trying to find is a large, 1-or-two car garage - not just a place to park. Craigslist has turned up nothing so far.

Being coy about why you want the space is not going to serve you, clearly you aren't looking to just park a car. So just ask for what you actually want and why, you're more likely to get it.

Does anyone have a space that can be used for storage downtown, even on 2nd floor, if so please PM me.

Also I could use a garage for a car too.

Ya got me, brewster. Actually, I need the space so I can build my mad scientist laboratory and hatch my harebrained schemes for world domination. MUAHAHAHA.

Any leads?

Jeez, he wants a private, secure place. Maybe it's a classic car that needs a battery tender, and he doesn't want an unlatched hood with a power cord open to the public. He was quite specific in his request, he doesn't owe JClist an explanation why he wants what he wants. Maybe he has a second set of wheels he needs to store and doesn't want them boosted.

You can try Craigslist. As a fallback - parking at Newport Mall is around $100/month.

I am wondering if anyone has any leads on private, large-ish garage space downtown for rent (hoping for less than $500/month). Not shared, covered condo parking. I have a feeling that I'd be better off finding a live unicorn in downtown, but I figure it can't hurt to ask!!
