I've been getting those solicitations, but I think they don't know that it was a short sale, that negates the sale price as an "arms length" deal. I should still give it a go, nothing to lose the way they pitch it.

I did and it was a complete success. No issues whatsoever, but then I knew I had an excellent case for a tax appeal.
