Mod Cup is awesome. Very pricey, but the quality cannot be beat. Make sure you are not in a rush though, as coffee likes this takes a bit of time...especially if there are people in front of you. For coffee aficionados, this is the place to go!

The owners are SUPER friendly and very welcoming. This is a great place to visit. They are downright freaks about tea and concoct some incredible blends. I really enjoyed the teas I have tried. I only wish they were closer to me.

I finally got a chance to spend some time in this spot, its small a little too tight, but the coffee is good, actually very good. Nice looking mugs and nice looking staff. This place will appeal to coffee snobs, who understand coffee lingo which sounded like a lot of jive to me. If you are a DD or Starbucks drinker this place may not be to your liking or maybe you will love it. Congrats on the new spot, I like it!

They're so nice-I met them at the last Riverview community meeting/networking hour.
Grand opening is 8 am to 8 pm on Saturday and they're doing soft opens 8 am to 2 pm all this week. I switched to taking the jitney from in front of my house by or I'd buy a cuppa on my usual walk to the HBLR.

Mod Cup Coffee has opened a brick & mortar store at 479 Palisade Ave. between Griffith and Bowers Streets across from Riverview Fisk Park. Mod Cup is usually seen working from their coffee cart at various events and parks. So a much needed coffee venue in the Heights has finally arrived.
