I'll be disappointed if he doesn't veto this, but the fact remains that it was a Hudson County Democrat behind the grab-and with Fulop's casino/racetrack/hotel deal benefitting from this lets put the blame where the blogger does. On the Democrats. Both this and the Constitutional Amendment was their creation.

Minor blogger? He's the director of PEER. You should know better. In a previous thread, you quoted unnamed nj.com commenters as a source. Your standards are very loose when they're in your favor! LOL. Your ignorance of his connections is telling, and not my fault.

Regardless, Mr. Wolfe correctly points out that this falls in line with Christie's long term trend towards park privatization, and I do not expect a conditional veto. I'm actually surprised you're trying to deflect this issue too, instead of making some argument in support of Christie's policies, which you must support. Why else would you waste so much of your time defending him?

Yes, the original bill was introduced by Prieto, a democrat. However, the last minute addition was requested by the Governor's office. LOL.

I wonder if this means there's a chance overnight PATH service will actually be terminated? Christie and the Port Authority do it to get back at Zimmer and Fulop, and Christie appeases the irate developers by throwing them this bone.

From the first link:

"It is unclear who added the paragraph. A spokes?man for Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto, the bill?s primary sponsor, would not say."

You're joking, right? Up and coming Hudson County Democrat Prieto writes the bill, and it's a Republican thing?

Didja think that maybe this will tie into Fulop's casino/racetrack plan??

So you're saying the dear governor will veto it?

To start, some of the commenters in the article Yvonne linked, son. 0

Put this all on the Democrats in the Legislature.

Why are we even talking about Christie? The conversation should be about the park, not your political circle jerking.

Yes, it was irresponsible to do so without knowing the state's finances year to year. But some have portrayed this as a way for Trenton take money from the park to put in the general fund, which isn't something Christie supported. So it seems like one group of lefties is trying to screw another group of lefties-and spent quite a bit of money to do so.

Christie opposed this, but lobbyists for the Sierra Club and other liberal groups raised over $500,000 to push the initiative, which was driven by Democrats in the Legislature.
