I hope too.
under the past administration, a person could search public documents; agenda's, ordinances and resolutions, under this administration one cannot. in the past, even colossal 180 degree reversals such as the PAD and 111 First included lip service to public outreach, where as recently, deals promoting the greeville garbage transfer station and front yard parking proposal have been fast tracked with the bare minimum of opportunity for public input. the work of open jc is outstanding and they are doing their best to yank our city forward, but when you go to the city's open data portal - http://www.cityofjerseycity.com/data.aspx?id=14750, all you see is some recent stats, census info, a google map of bike routes and a mural list, not data (for people to work with.) It is still a work in progress.
What I will say is that the administration has been very good in cooperating with Open JC in getting it the information it has asked for. There have been some missteps and occasions where they could have done something better. But for the most part they are "with the program." More to come, I hope.

Personally I think this administration has been a lot more transparent and have made good use of internet technology for the community to use. It had been quite difficult and non-user friendly plus not promoted previously.

With all the "sweetheart tax abatements" I would like to know who Fulop is meeting with. After all, it is nothing but corporate welfare.

Yes, and much that was blacked out happened at last years Municipality Conference in Atlantic City.

Does anyone remember Terrance McDonald's article on Fulop's calendar? Nearly everything was black out. Where was the transparency then?

Jersey City wins public information award at League of Municipalities convention
By Ron Zeitlinger | The Jersey Journal on November 22, 2014 at 8:35 PM Jersey City was awarded the Best Overall Municipal Public Information award at the League of Municipalities annual convention, city officials announced. The award goes to the municipality that best "increases the public's awareness of government operations, strengthens community ties and provides useful information and services to citizens." "Thanks to the New Jersey League of Municipalities and Rutgers for awarding Jersey City, as the best city in the entire state for providing access to public information and being transparent," Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop said on his Facebook page.
