America's Hobby on Tonnelle @ 83rd is history. "So long" to Marshall and his bad rug. Hobby shops are seemingly a thing of the past, and it's so easy to order from online megastores like Tower Hobby, especially for the more esoteric stuff like high performance metal gear servos.

I used to have a good collection of 1/10 scale electric and gas cars, but gave it up a long time ago. I'm thinking about getting back into racing and casual driving now that I'm an adult and can afford the seemingly endless supply of parts.
Does anyone in JC drive R/C cars? Are there clubs or tracks in the area? What about shops? I know about the hobby shop on 1&9 that is mostly trains, and I drove past Tech Toys on rt. 46 last weekend.
