A Jersey City felon has been charged with causing severe head trauma to a victim during an assault on Friday which required the victim to undergo surgery to prevent bleeding on his brain, officials said. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or bond today for Orlando Garcia, of the 300 block of York Street, who turned 50 today, when he made his first court appearance on the charge of aggravated assault in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City this afternoon.
