Can anyone provide comparisons on RELB vs others you have tried? We are a small condo assoc (less than 5), and have been using RELB for about 1 year. While they "meet" our requirements, we found them to be slow in responding to our requests in general (takes several emails / calls to make things happen).

We have so far assumed that well, that's probably because we are small fish compared to their other clients.

But I'm curious to hear if other small condo assoc face the same challenges, or if we could get better service if we switch (even if we have to pay a bit more).

Thanks!

I live in a small building (8 units) and we use Madison Property Management. Jane is fantastic. We've gone through several other management companies, and had some very poor experiences. It's been a great experience working with Jane. If anyone has specific questions/recommendation, send me a private message and I'll be happy to elaborate.

Agreed. Unfortunately, when one has difficult and lazy owners to deal with, sometimes even the (barely adequate) management is a better alternative. ... Quote:

The reviews on this management company have generally been awful.

Does anyone else think it strange that someone would join and post a positive review to a thread that has been inactive since 2008?
OK I'll bite, what condo association do you represent JohnD and why did you wait so long to post a positive review?

"MEM Property Management has provided invaluable assistance and support during a difficult transition period. Their TOPS System is first-rate... providing sophisticated accounting, and reporting services as well as work-order tracking, and their recommendations for professional and facility-related service providers have proven invaluable to our association." theyhave proven themselves to be a true professional organization. Having MEM on our team, for the past five years, has improved our operations in numerous ways and has help us become a better association and me personally a more informed board member."

MEM did manage 264-286 Ninth Street (the complex right on Hamilton Park) years ago when I owned a unit in there. I'll just say that they were fired for what I regarded to be very good reason.

For this second part, I need no filter ----- the owner of MEM (Marty Laderman) owns a unit in another building where I also own --- 164 Ogden Avenue --- and he is currently THOUSANDS in arrears on his monthly condo fees --- just as he was a few years ago, and we had to file a lien against the property. He paid it off and then ran up the big tab again (so it looks like it's "lien time" again).

The guy is a piece of sh*t.

Has anyone heard positive or negative things about Mem Property Management? Does anyone have them managing their condo?
