Here's the guy that hit up my building. JCPD let it fizzle out. Never heard from the post office?

Try not to get too upset Wishful, Owlie is right I see a lot of people walking around the Heights between Central & Palsiade Avenues. looking like him. This is how cops and insurance companies solve problems...they see patterns.

I'm not implying anything. The OP asked if anyone knew the guy in the photo: overweight, oversized t-shirt, the inevitable baseball cap. I don't know where you live but I live in the Heights, and while I'm sorry you feel so offended I stand by my observation - if there is a Heights' "look" that is it.

He's just taking his cardboard recycling outside, down the street, and back to his house officer.

What the hell are you implying? I am seriously not amused by that comment (no matter what you intended it to mean) Try not making broad generalizations about anything. It sounds so offensive .

Not to get too nitpicky, but this isn't a "robbery." It's a burglary, or more generally a theft. I understand journalists are not lawyers, but they should be able to get general criminal terminology correct.

Seriously, he looks like every other third guy you see on the street in the Heights (west of Palisade, don't panic Ogden Avenue-ites)...

Hoboken police are seeking the public's help in identifying a serial burglar who has swiped packages from lobbies and mail rooms of residential buildings across the city over the past 12 months, authorities say. Based on a number of surveillance video images, police believe the man is about 5-foot-10 and usually is wearing a baseball cap and jeans and a T-shirt, Hoboken Detective Anthony Caruso said. He declined to say how many robberies the man is responsible for. Caruso said Hoboken police are advising residents of apartment buildings not to allow anyone in who doesn't belong in the building. Anyone with information is urged to call the Hoboken police main number at 201-420-2100 or the Detective Bureau at 201-420-2110. Link to Jersey Journal Article
