Looking for a local dermatologist, either downtown or in Hoboken. I of course can see the list of providers on my insurance website but would love recommendations of who you are happy with.

Thanks everyone- this is a huge help! We've been putting off making appts forever because...well, laziness. And close by is easier now that one of us works in the city.

+1 For Dr Balacco. He must be in his 50's - does he still wear earrings and sneakers in his surgery (or am I thinking of Dr DeMarco)?
I switched to Dr Flores at JCMC only for ease of appointments. Same-day appointments are generally not a problem - whereas with Dr Balacco there's usually a few day's wait.

+1, been going there since 1997. I see Dr. DeMarco and he is excellent. Both are very good. Super easy to get appts and easy to get there. If your sick they will get you in. The office is closed from 1 to 2 for lunch (M-F).

Balacco & De Marco Family: Balacco Leonard M MD
108 Washington Street Hoboken, NJ 07030 (201) 656-5688 I couldn't talk more highly of Balacco!! I have been told that DeMarco is good as well, but I've never seen him. Watch - now I am never going to be able to get an appointment

Anyone have a GP they really like, either in JC or in Hoboken? We would like to find a local GP to make appointments easier.
