Yeah, I've walked by there both pre-and-post opening, and it looks totally uninteresting. Maybe they'll pull themselves together.

I picked up a couple salads from them on my way home last week and they were freshly prepared, ingredients were good quality, chicken was grilled well, and their house dressing was very good. For being cooked to order I was pleasantly surprised that they were still quick.

That being said, I'm not sure what they are trying to be. I *think* it's just supposed to be a takeout spot but the whole atmosphere of the place doesn't quite make sense. It's almost like a cafe without cafe type menu items and the decor is a total afterthought.

Either way, the food was good, if a bit uninspired, but for a quick weeknight take out spot I'll be back.

I got two wraps to go over the weekend ( a chicken and a turkey). They were both fair, at best and I am no rush to go back.

I am not clear on what exactly John's is trying to be...is it a deli? A to go place? A Restaurant? Didn't seem to be doing anything well.

The layout makes no sense...the kitchen / counter takes up most of the front room and the seating is in the back or up stairs. Not sure they will be able to make it as currently set up, but hopefully they figure things out.

Any feedback?

Salads, panini, wraps, burgers...comfort food, but additions look creative and tasty. I will give them a try....particularly as they are on my route home.
