Thankfully these morons are pretty few, Downtown we have a 6 light glass door, and have never had it broken. It was jimmied before I wised up and put a anti-jimmy bars. One of my tenants informed me that some guy at around 2:30 AM a couple nights ago tried kicking in the ground floor door to my building (Palisade Ave. btw Congress and North Ave.) This was unusual only because the break-ins and attempts I have had in the past happen during the day when everyone is at work.
The perp failed to kick in the door (the steel door held) and left before the police arrived. I was also told the building next door was burglarized. Just letting people know.. there are some crazy criminals on the loose in the Heights.
