You don't seem to have much consistency in your posts. On one thread you are saying that you don't endorse Lonegan in any form. But on others you are saying that the electorate is too stupid to know that Booker really isn't the second coming.

How about Booker is not good but Lonegan is epically awful, so many informed voters have no real choice? I don't understand how the republicans can't seem to put out a decent candidate, but this seems to be a recurring trend.

I would assume it's been preordained because nearly every single person i know who's ever interacted with Lonegan, including numerous republicans, think he's a gigantic donkey hole of the highest order.

Near as i can tell from the few republican friends i have, they couldn't have fielded a worse candidate unless sarah palin moved here.

Also according to http://www.city-data.com/crime/crime-Newark-New-Jersey.html crime is mostly down since '06 when booker took over (through '11).

down: murder, rape, assault, theft, auto theft, arson
up: robbery, burglary

More on this here:

Endorsing Lonegan, former Jersey City acting mayor cites Booker's 'incompetency'

By Terrence T. McDonald/The Jersey Journal

Joseph Rakowski, who was Jersey City?s acting mayor for four months in 1992, today endorsed Republican Steve Lonegan?s bid for the U.S. Senate, saying Lonegan opponent Newark Mayor Cory Booker has been a ?failure.?

Rakowski, 65, said Booker?s tenure as mayor of Newark has led to ?unemployment, taxes, the crime.?

?To me, you don?t reward somebody for incompetency,? he said.

as per Terrence McDonald's twitter page (@terrencemcd), with this gem of a quote:

?I don?t know that he?s that conservative?I don?t know much about him.?

Thoughts?
