Can anyone recommend a contractor or company that can replace window screens in a condo? This is not a DIY job, where I would be simply be replacing the screen on the same frames. I currently have stationary screens that do not go up and down and I want to replace the entire screens with ones on tracks that can slide up and down. Therefore, the tracks and the screen frames would have to be installed-- not a job I can do myself.

Has anyone had this kind of work done and could you recommend someone?

thanks for the tips. the window screens look fairly easy. my only concern would be getting the measurements exact as i don't want them rattling or potentially falling out in the wind.

+1 on making your own screens. It is a VERY easy job. I have done a couple of door sized screens, and found it to be easy. The first one was a bit of a screw up, as I was pulling it too tight, but once you get the hang of it, you can breeze through the process. Lowe's and Home Depot sell the kits.

Not sure how handy you are or how many windows you have, but making the window screens yourself is actually pretty easy and costs a fraction of what custom screens will. The parts come in kits and the only tools needed are a hacksaw and a screen spline tool (which costs less than $5).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a contractor to source and install window screens and a retractable screen for a deck door?
